PAWS' "BOX SCORE" for 2006 - 2007

The volunteers of PAWS fielded well over 2000 calls this past fiscal year resulting in 1339 pet cats and dogs being altered. This number is down somewhat from the past year. Surgeries are provided by local veterinarians at a reduced cost working through the PAWS' neuter/spay program. PAWS pays a portion of the cost to help lower the price paid by our client. Although the number of surgeries is down, PAWS has again paid more per surgery to help our clients protect their pets. There are several reduced cost neuter/spay organizations now serving the area. Working together will help reduce the number of homeless cats and dogs.

The officers of PAWS wish to thank all of our volunteers and the many veterinarians involved in our neuter/spay program. Without their giving of time and resources none of this would be possible.
